Alan and I have great pleasure in inviting you to our 2009 Christmas milonga. We’ll have the 2 classes as usual and the milonga will start at the normal time BUT we are open until 7.30pm. So you will have a whole extra hour of Alan’s great music. On top of that, there will be delicious food, both sweet and savoury and free wine. If you want to show off your culinary or baking skills and bring something yourself, please do so. There will also be a free raffle.

Jenney Surelia leads you from the afternoon into the early evening with a programme of live tango music, dance demonstrations and plenty of opportunities for the public to learn the basic steps of tango. Live music will be provided by Tango Siempre with Guillermo Rosenthuler on vocals and dance demonstrations will be lead by Jenney Surelia and Santiago Hernandez.

9th January, Saturday -X Rated Ladies Day with Alexandra Wood – Hove
We are delighted to announce our first Ladies Day. It is a full day of detoX, relaX, eXercise, tango fiX with aleX. Not only is Alex one of London’s top tango dancers, but she also studied R.A.D classical Ballet for 15 years, received a B.A. Hons. Degree in Dance, and worked as a Contemporary Dancer and in the fitness industry for 9 years. She has constructed a special day with 3 workshops to set you up for the New Year! It will include Ballet-Tone, Ladies Tango Technique and Stretch for Dancers. Lunch is included and there will also be optional pampering treats such as foot/head massage available throughout the day.
The day provides an ideal Christmas present for yourself or for a special lady. This is already proving to be a very hot ticket and numbers are strictly limited! We have a special earlybird price of £50 for the day if booked before December 20th. After that if any places remain the price will rise to £60. Day starts at 10.00am. Following the tremendous success of last year cruise we are getting ready to return to Egypt in April 2010 with Omar and Monica Ocampo as guest teachers.
We will cruise on the Nile for 7 days and 8 nights, enjoying unforgettable scenery, dancing tango, plus going on daily sightseeing trips to some of the most spectacular sites of the Old Egypt.
